delivery
All orders travel via standard Australia Post: FLAT RATE $8.90 per order whether you are near or far and regardless of order size. We'll love you forever if you have a PO Box and use that as your delivery address. Your orders are usually on their merry way within one business day. Delivery is generally 2 - 5 business days after that, depending on whether a cut lunch, compass and Scouts badge are required to find you. Signature on delivery will usually be required. If using a street address and no-one is there to sign, your parcel will be taken to the nearest post office and a card notifying this will be left for you. If your order doesn’t arrive in the expected time frame, Please Contact Us. Your bliss is our bliss. Please collect your parcel promptly AND ensure you provide correct address details as a redelivery fee will apply if you don’t and it’s returned to us. At this time, we generally only deliver to Australian addresses (but please tell us via the Contact Form if you live elsewhere and would like to order from us).
tax invoice
All prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST. To save trees, a Tax Invoice (PDF format) will be emailed to you on completion of your order. No invoice is packed with the parcel. If you do need a paper version, please print the one we email you.
payment methods
We use PayPal to process your Visa or MasterCard credit card payment to gorgeous & home. PayPal protects your information by Secure Sockets Layer with an encryption key length of 128 bits (the highest level commercially available). You are not required to register with PayPal to pay with your Visa or MasterCard. When you reach the payment screen, simply complete your credit card and contact information. There is not need to save your details with PayPal unless you wish to. If you DO have a PayPal account, you can log in and take advantage of additional payment options including direct payment from your bank account. After successful processing of your payment, you are returned to gorgeous & home. PayPal automatically notifies us that you have made your payment and we will immediately release your order for its preparation and despatch to you, pronto.
If you are not able to pay by Visa or MasterCard (the fastest method), please send us an email via the Contact Us form notifying us of what you'd like to order and how you'd like to pay for it and we'll get back to you asap.
gifts & complimentary gift wrapping
We are happy to send your order directly to someone you’d like to bliss. Please indicate this in the notes area of your order and put their name and address in the 'delivery details' section of your order. We would be honoured to handwrite some sweet nothings on the gift tag on your behalf. You can trust us to write beautifully and spell correctly. Please just tell us clearly what you’d like in the notes area of your order. Complimentary giftwrapping is available whether your bliss basket is being sent directly to you or your blissee. Usually we only wrap when requested in Notes but until Christmas, all items will automatically be giftwrapped and ribboned in our signature aqua and white colours. It doesn't scream "Christmas" but is elegant, classic and lovely.
ordering outside Australia
If you live outside of Australia but would like us to deliver to an Australian address, it's a piece of cake provided you are able to pay by your Visa or MasterCard. Send us an email via the Contact Us page including your name and address, your Australian friend's name and address and what you'd like sent to them and we'll reply with info on how to complete the order.
total bliss guarantee
If the candle you chose doesn't smell as you imagined or hoped (we love them all, but fragrance is so personal), please return it (unlit and in its original packaging) within ten days of your order date. Return delivery will be at your cost. We will refund to the invoice value of the item/s you return (excluding shipping/handling). Please contact us BEFORE you return the items so that a return reference number can be given to you. Anything sent back to us COD will not be accepted. Responsibility for returning the order safely to us lies with you. All other items may be returned per the above procedures provided they are completely unopened and still in their sealed original packaging. In the thoroughly unimaginable event that any product is faulty, it may be returned for replacement. Please contact us within three (3) days of its delivery and we will arrange collection and replacement at our cost. Please be aware that natural wax candles can have variations in the wax surface as an inherent part of their nature and charm, and this is not a flaw. Statutory rights apply.
the cat who got the cream (aka quality assurance)
That's how we want you to feel when you receive your parcel from gorgeous & home. We are unashamed to admit that we are quite obsessed with Quality Assurance. If you think something is missing, it will be highly unlikely, so please gently tip the contents of your box out on a soft surface and check again. The fluffy stuff is wonderful but is like quicksand. If anything arrives to you damaged, we will be aghast! Please let us know immediately so that we can make things right. All claims are required within five (5) days of delivery of the parcel.

Special offers apply from time to time and if such a treat applies when your order is successfully completed and paid for, it will automatically be shown in your basket. Any such offers are clearly shown on the website and are subject to change without notice.
packaging
We aim to use recycled and enviro friendly packaging where possible, while still ensuring that your objects of bliss arrive in pristine condition. The fluffy stuff is completely degradable and can be safely and with good conscience put into the household rubbish or tucked under your mulch. Bubble wrap is only used when essential. Please recycle the wrapping paper.
Sssshhhhhh (privacy)
We will never ever provide your details to anyone outside of what’s necessary to get your order processed and delivered to you. We do not receive or store your credit card details, as they are provided by you directly to PayPal. Any information we request is purely to allow us to give you the best possible experience and service with gorgeous & home. conditions of use
By viewing this site and/or ordering with us, you are agreeing to our various policies and conditions of use. Orders will be shipped when payment has been received in full and ownership does not pass until then. Errors and omissions would be completely unintentional and we hope none exist, but if so, they are excepted. We reserve the right to change product availability, prices and the way we do things without notice if needs be. In the extremely unlikely event that someone is impolite or unfair in dealing with us, we reserve the right not to deal with them. (We want our lives to be blissful, too.)
